Last Minute Filming

So that audience can make a clear connection between David and the home-videos, I had contacted David in the hope he was going to be free within the next couple of days for me to film him in a 'home-video situation' which would make a clear link between the two. However he is not free at all this week for me to do so. So last night I put a photo of David with family members in a frame and filmed a short clip starting with a close-up of him and a slow zoom so the full picture was in view. This is going towards the end of my video immediately followed by a close-up of David's face whilst he is playing the piano again to reinforce the link between the two.

Overlay

As the overlay I had orginally got did not work as well as I had hoped, I have found some other overlays and have asked one of the IT technicians to download and convert them for me because the school computers don't let students download files.

Whilst I am waiting for him to do this, I will do some more work to my digipak.

Problems with overlay

After converting the overlay file I had downloaded from the internet to make my home video clips look old, I tried putting it over some footage using the 'chroma key' effect in Adobe Premiere Pro. This hasn't worked as well as I had wanted it to so my plan is to try and find a different overlay which might work better.

Problems

For some reason I still cannot get the html code for the Twitter feed on my website to work so today I will ask my teacher if she knows how to do this.

As well as this, I loaded up my digipak to edit as other cameras are in use and I can't upload remaining footage for my video, and photoshop has locked all of my layers so I can't edit anything for my album cover. Again, I am going to ask my teacher for assistance as this will mean I will have to start my digipak again if it does not unlock the layers.

Webeden

This morning I went to log into my webeden account but it said 'login was unsuccessful'. So I have reset my password twice but it still won't let me log in. As we are in the HLC for this lesson I can't do any work on my music video. So for today's lesson I will gather some research for my website and digipak.

Memory Stick

In between doing my digipaks I have been trying to complete my mood boards and questionnaire. I had started doing them but the files have somehow vanished from my memory stick. The mood boards and my questionnaire are almost done and I have finished all of my digipaks now and just need to upload my final one at home as I can't see images on my blog at school.
