Back of Digipak

I have added a barcode to the back of my digipak and will put the Columbia logo at the bottom too. The back is very simple with just a plain black background and using the eye-dropper tool on photoshop, I have taken the same colour pink as the lighting on the image on the front of my digiapk and used this as the colour of the font.

I will upload a screenshot later today.

Whilst waiting for my music video to export from Adobe Premiere Pro so that I can see whether the lip-syncing is as accurate as possible, I'm going to add a barcode to the back of my digipak.

Last Minute Filming

So that audience can make a clear connection between David and the home-videos, I had contacted David in the hope he was going to be free within the next couple of days for me to film him in a 'home-video situation' which would make a clear link between the two. However he is not free at all this week for me to do so. So last night I put a photo of David with family members in a frame and filmed a short clip starting with a close-up of him and a slow zoom so the full picture was in view. This is going towards the end of my video immediately followed by a close-up of David's face whilst he is playing the piano again to reinforce the link between the two.

Today's Lesson

Today we looked over the footage we filmed for the weather report in front of the green screen and was shown how to edit the green background into any image or video we wanted.

I was quite surprised at just how simple this process was and will definitely have a look at seeing whether I can use the green screen for my video.

Tonight I will be taking home my recording equipment so that I can capture some footage over the half-term holiday.

Green Screen

On Thursday's lesson we will be looking at the new green screen and recording a short weather report so that we can learn how to use the green screen most effectively.

Then on Friday's lesson we will be using the editing software to put together the weather report.

This will be useful for us to see what we are capable of producing with this new piece of equipment.
